Nibbles is Closing at the end of February

After 5 years of planning and then 6 years of having Nibbles open, I have decided it's time to close. I have struggled for several years to find the right balance between play, food, marketing and doing parties to make Nibbles self-sufficient so that I could be free to better meet my family's needs and now after several weeks of working with a consultant and trying to negotiate with my landlord, I have decided it is time to close Nibbles.
Most businesses are advised to not publicize that they are closing but I feel that many of our customers are our friends and neighbors and we are very close to the children who come to Nibbles. We will remain open through February, gradually reducing our hours and our food service to give our regular customers an opportunity to use up their Family Five Cards. Please feel free "share" your multi-pass cards with other families, if you do not feel you can use your passes yourself.
We will also be doing all of the parties that we currently have booked, but we will not be booking any further events. Please watch our emails for updates on our hours and events.
I am asking that everyone please refrain from comments on our Facebook page, as this is an emotional decision for both myself and my staff, and comments and advice can be difficult to face each day. Please show us your support by dropping in a few times with your children, having lunch while we still can serve food and enjoying some time with us.

| Are you interested in opening a Nibbles in your own neighborhood? I've got lots of thoughts on how to make Nibbles work in another location. If you are interested and can move quickly - I would be happy to talk about "selling" Nibbles equipment, furniture, toys, trademark and logo - and share my experience to get your started.
Please contact me by Feb. 7, if you are interested. After that date, we will begin making other arrangements for selling off Nibbles belongings.
