Nine Teams to Represent Atlantic Union at NAD Pathfinder Bible Experience
Sixteen teams representing Pathfinder clubs from across the Atlantic Union Conference participated in the Atlantic Union Pathfinder Bible Experience (PBE) on March 26. More than 120 participants, club directors, and Atlantic Union PBE advisory team members gathered virtually and in-person for the hybrid event held in Lancaster, Massachusetts. Of the 16 teams, nine teams will represent the Atlantic Union at the North American Division PBE on April 22 and 23 in Eugene, Oregon. Five teams are from the Southern New England Conference: Braintree Flames, Brooklawn Eagles, Connecticut Cougars, Merrimack Valley King's Kids, and the Meriden Missionaries; and four are from the Greater New York Conference: Gye Nyame Day Dawn, Gye Nyame Morning Stars, Maranatha Lightbearers, and Middletown SWAT. Congratulations to all of the Pathfinders who diligently studied the books of Ruth and 1 Kings last year in preparation for their area, conference, and union PBE levels. Well done!

Linden Hislop, principal of Greater New York Conference's Brooklyn school, was driven by a great desire to offer his students the best and nothing less. While others saw possible storage space, he saw a space for students to engage and challenge their learning ability with cutting-edge technology. What was once a forgotten, shabby room with crumbling walls, deteriorating floors, and exposed insulation is now a newly renovated Media and Technology Center. The space now boasts print media, an interactive smart board, computers, a whiteboard, multiple iPads, a television, and much more. The school recently dedicated the Media and Technology Center with a grand celebration to witness this giant step into the future.

April 2022 Gleaner Available Online
Adventist education has come a long way since 1853, when the first known church school for Sabbatarian Adventists began in Buck's Bridge, New York. Today, Adventist schools are in nearly 150 countries and are one of the largest Protestant educational systems in the world. The April 2022 Gleaner looks at the history of Adventist education and shares how leadership is poised to update and adapt our methodology to reach a new generation of students better and prepare them for service in the 21st century. Also, as in every issue, we hope you will gain inspiration from the stories of students, members, churches, and institutions around the Atlantic Union serving the Lord in their sphere of influence.
