God's Children Are Not for Sale
Men's Group and Respect Life Ministry are excited to host a church movie night this Friday, August 11th at 7:00pm in Shea Hall at St. Julian Eymard Church showing Sound of Freedom! Sound of Freedom—based on the incredible true story of Tim Ballard, (founder of Operation Underground Railroad)—shines a light on even the darkest of places. After rescuing a young boy from ruthless child traffickers, a federal agent learns the boy’s sister is still captive and decides to embark on a dangerous mission to save her. With time running out, he quits his job and journeys deep into the Colombian jungle, putting his life on the line to free her from a fate worse than death. We have made this a FREE event with a free-will offering requested to support organizations fighting against human trafficking and child exploitation.

Let's Be Transformed Together. Save the Date and Spread the Word!
Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 26th and extend this invitation to friends and fellow parishioners. Drawing inspiration from Romans 12, we will come together to renew our hearts and minds and discern God's will for our lives. Fr. Dan looks forward to spending this meaningful morning with you as we build on Healing, Hope and Hospitality to Be Transformed.
We'll begin the day with morning Mass at 8:15am at Queen of the Rosary Church and then head over to Queen of the Rosary School for a morning of reflection. Light refreshments will be served in the morning, and we'll conclude with lunch between Noon and 12:30pm.

Is God Calling YOU?
“Lighten your burden by letting them bear it with you!” (Exodus 18:22)
Have you ever found yourself thinking, "Fr. Dan should do this," or wondering, "Why isn't our parish doing that"? If so, we invite you to prayerfully consider joining the Parish Council. Not merely a "yes" body or "rubber stamp" for Fr. Dan's ideas, this important body plays an essential role in shaping the path of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish. Parish Council acts as a bridge between parishioners and pastoral leadership.
Nominations are due to the parish office by September 1, 2023. To discover more about the position and nomination/selection process, follow this link to download the flyer and application.

Bridge to a Brighter Future
Faith is a bridge to all dreams! And education is more than just imparting knowledge, it is a bridge to a brighter future. Your generosity to our Annual Fund makes a lasting impact on our school by providing access to faith formation, quality education and a strong community for students who may not otherwise be able to afford a Catholic School education. Your donation may directed to bridge one, or more, of these gaps: The Opportunity Gap (Tuition Assistance), The Digital Divide (Infrastructure & Technology) or Safety & Security.
To make a donation to the Annual Fund and become a bridge builder:
We are grateful for your partnership and commitment to our shared vision. May God bless you abundantly for your support!
