Dear friends in Christ
Grace and Peace are yours in abundance! Amen,
I have missed you all so much! I pray every day that God would rid us of this virus so that we could come back together as a church family. In the meantime, Marcy Aaroen has been sending out weekly material (via e-mail) for you and your family to look over that relate to the lessons and Gospel for this Sunday. We hope this is a help to you all while we are apart.

A reminder, too, that each Sunday morning, you can go on the OSLC web page (go to and click on the tab that appears right in front of you (usually has the Sunday date on it), and it will take you to the YouTube channel where our worship video will appear for you to watch. If you will subscribe to our channel, after you do this, all you will have to do is go on YouTube, and there you will click on "subscriptions" at the bottom of the page. This will show you round icons at the top of the page. There you can click on the OSLC icon (a picture of the nave and chancel of the church), and it will take you to the current service and also the other
two we have already recorded for past services in March.

We will offer worship videos for Maundy Thursday and Good Friday so that you can have something to ponder, pray, and remember about our Lord Christ's passion that led Him to the cross and eventually - the following Sunday (April 12) - to His resurrection! Just go to YouTube or our website.

Please know that our prayers are offered for you all. Again - I cannot wait to see you again!
Also note the special updated prayers that we have at this time for all of OSLC, listed below.

God loves you and so do we!
Pastor Jim

From Cindy Watkins, OSLC Office Administrator:

Office hours have temporarily changed because of all that is going on. I will be in the office every day from 7 am to 1 pm.  The church phone is set to toggle back and forth from the church phone number to my cell so we don't miss your calls.
If you are worried about getting your offering to the church, you can come by between the hours listed above or mail in your offering.
Don't forget to pick up your Holy Week packet by the PDO entrance.

Gospel Of The Week
Jesus Enters Jerusalum

And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,
Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.
And if any man say ought unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.
All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,
Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.
And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,
And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.
And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.
And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.
10 And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?
11 And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

Matthew 21:1-11
