Nixa Aquatics Center Pool Renovation


Crews are working on the final touches to the pool renovation. The Parks Department is optimistic about an open date during the first week in June 2024!

Cherry Street Stormwater


Cherry Street has been reopened east of Missouri Avenue. All stormwater piping has been buried and crews are working on replacing fencing that was moved out of necessity for construction. The construction phase is nearly complete.


This project is designed to fix flooding problems through an old area of town from North St. south to John Thomas School of Discovery (JTSD).

Route 160 & CC Intersection Improvements


MoDOT is working to improve intersections along U.S. Route 160. This project focuses on the intersection at Rt. 160 and Route CC north of Nixa.

June 29: Sky High Fireworks Celebration @ Nixa High School, 7 p.m.


This event is organized by the Nixa Chamber of Commerce.

August 24: Friends of the Park Pool Party @ Nixa Aquatics Center, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.


This event is FREE to attend! Followed by the Movie in the Park!
