Taxes kill jobs.

They make it more expensive for employers to do business and make it more difficult for families to put food on the table.

And a carbon tax is the worst of them all.

Environmental stewardship is important, but a carbon tax means that everyday Canadians will be penalized for everyday life purchases that they make to simply survive.

Northern and rural residents many times don't have the option to use public transit instead of drive their own vehicles - carbon taxes treat them as environmental sinners.

Urban residents shop in grocery stores that have their goods transported from abroad - carbon taxes treat them as environmental sinners too.

The list goes on and on. Bottom line: carbon taxes are wrong and penalize the wrong people for the wrong reasons.

Canadians are taxed enough.
