Greetings!
You
are invited to attend the first annual Zydeco Music
Festival: A celebration of Louisiana food, music &
culture benefiting local non-profits. Gospel, Zydeco and Jazz
muscians will be performing all day, from noon till nine pm. There
will also be vendors offering food, clothing, jewelery and treats.
Representatives from non-profits such as Jacob's House, Arc
Mid-Cities and The Oak Grove Center will be on hand to discuss what
they doing in our community.
The
festival also features a Beer & Wine Garden
and we would like to participate. Our plan is very simple and
straightforward.
- You
agree to donate product on Sunday for tasting.
- We
will sell drink tickets for $1 each.
- You
charge whatever you want for tastes (ex: 1 ticket).
- At
close, you can redeem your tickets for 50 cents each.
This
will give you excellent exposure with negligible upfront costs.
Just agree to show up with product to sample and we'll provide the
customers, table and licensed space to pour. If you can't make it,
but would still like to participate, you can donate a minimum of
one case of wine, our volunteers will pour samples for you, and
you'll get 25 cents per ticket or a tax write off for the retail
value of the wine.
Simply
Sharon's Restaurant already carries wines from local wineries like
Weins, Leonesse, Mount Palomar and South Coast Winery and is
looking to expand its wine list. The most favored wines from the
Zydeco Music Festival Beer & Wine Garden will definitely make
the list.
No
costs. Revenue generating. Benefits local
non-profits.

This
event is coming up quick, Sunday 12 noon to 9pm, so I need to hear
back from you soon. Space is limited and we expect a large crowd.
Press will be in attendance as well, so your participation will be
widely noted.
With
5 bands, a dance floor, great food, low-price and benefiting
several local non-profits, this will be one exciting music
festival. I realize it's short notice, but I sincerely hope chooses
to be a part of this historic and worthwhile event.
