Being on this journey through Hosea with you has been a joy. I am so glad you have shown up week after week to study God’s Word, hear it taught, and discuss it with your sisters. I have prayed for you as I, too, have enjoyed walking back through the book of Hosea. Some of you have contacted or run into me and shared about your group and how the Lord has used your time in His Word. Thank you for encouraging me. I am grateful for the transforming work of the Spirit through His Word. I have clung to God’s promises that His Word will not return void and that He will finish what He started in each of us. I will continue to pray that the Lord will bear fruit from our being in His Word together.
I pray that you have fallen deeper in love with His Word—that you feel more equipped and excited to study the whole counsel of God, knowing His good Word is for you. I pray you better understand His big story and that seeing yourself in the pages of Hosea has made more sense of your own story, written by God Himself. Finally, I pray you more fully know your Savior, your Bridegroom, and that this knowledge has driven you into the arms of the One who gave Himself for you and relentlessly pursues you. I pray you love Him more and so yearn to be faithfully devoted to Him as long as you both shall live—forever.
