SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS
No In Person Instruction Tomorrow
Tomorrow, December 11th is an all school Remote Learning Day. Students will log into Google Classroom to submit attendance. No live instruction Zooms will take place, but please record your child's attendance in Google Classroom by 8:30 am.
Half Days Next Week
As a reminder, next Thursday and Friday, December 17th and 18th are Half Days for all students. Release times:
  • K-2: 11:45 am
  • 3-5: 12"05 pm
  • K-5 w/ Prep siblings: 12:25 pm
Late pick up charges begin at 12:40 pm .
Semester 2 Distance Learning
Families that have chosen to remain in Distance Learning for semester 2 will receive email communication from Great Hearts beginning next week regarding schedules, Meet the Teacher, and more! All semester 2 Distance Learning families are asked to come to the school to pick up their child's Level B Math Workbook next week. The front office is open 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday, the front office closes at 2:30 pm. Thursday and Friday, December 17th and 18th, we will close at 1:00 pm. Please call the front office with any questions regarding workbook pick up.

Open Enrollment
Open Enrollment ends THIS Friday, December 11th.
  • Open Enrollment is for future scholars (2021-2022) that do not currently attend Archway Arete.
  • 5th grade scholars attending Archway Arete will need to submit an application for 6th grade at Arete Prep (2021-22) during Open Enrollment.
  • Re-enrollment for the 2021-22 school year for current Archway students begins in March 2021.

Spirit Wear Day Rescheduled
Our Spirit Wear day scheduled for Friday, December 18th has been moved to Monday, January 25th in celebration of our 100th day of school! Stay-tuned for information regarding spirit wear ordering for your family.

December Lunch Volunteer Opportunities
We are in need of volunteers to help in the lunchroom. It's a great way to help our school and see your child on campus. Sign up to volunteer in the lunchroom.

Staff Appreciation Lunch: December
Holiday Cheer is right around the corner at our Staff Teacher Appreciation lunch on December 18th! Even though this is not combined with the Prep side, we still plan to make this lunch memorable and special for all. It will still include a gift card for each staff member with an ornament from the tree. Please sign up here to participate in celebrating our wonderful staff! Emily will be at drop off the morning of the 18th to collect items.

Teacher Snack Bar
We are all very aware of the many hours our wonderful teachers are pouring into serving their students. We would like to fuel them with a "snack bar" inside their lunch/break room! Find the snack items here. Please drop off items at the front desk.

Registration for the Athenaeum After-School Program for the 2020-21 school year is open!

Athenaeum, our after-school program for grades K-8, is focused on the liberal arts and promotes learning by providing students dedicated homework time, in addition to enriching and academically oriented activities. Scholars also have time for snack, games and recreation; and time to socialize with friends.
