Please notify administration if your family intends to travel internationally.

International Travel Isolation Guidelines

  2.   Take your temperature with a thermometer two times a day and monitor for a fever. Also watch for cough or trouble breathing.
  3.  Stay home and avoid contact with others. Do not go to work or school
  4.  Do not take public transportation taxis, or ride-shares.
  5.  Keep your distance from others (about 6 feet or 2 meters)

Read-a-thon is next week Friday, October 30th! Students have the option to come to school dressed as their favorite classical literary character, scientist, or historical figure. Costumes need not come directly from the grade level curriculum, though they must be classically aligned. Additionally, costumes should allow students to engage in regular school day activities such as recess, lunch, and P.E., and shouldn’t impede their instruction. Violent images or weapons of any kind will not be permitted. Face coverings may not

Scholastic Book Fair Online
We will not hold an on-site book fair for October’s Read-a-Thon. Instead, we are encouraging teachers to create an account with Scholastic online. From there, teachers can create wish lists, book recommendations, and more! Books can be shipped directly to students’ homes, and teachers will reap Scholastic rewards which means more books for their classroom libraries. Reach out to your child's teacher for their specific class code, or use the Archway Arete school code: XLJGP.

Curriculum Night
Curriculum Night will not be held in its usual format this year. Instead, we would like to offer parents two resources below:

  • Jake Tawney, VP of Curriculum at Great Hearts, introduces parents to the approach behind Singapore Mathematics as the core curriculum used in grades K-5. View Mr. Tawney's video here.
  • Margie Clouse, Phonics Coach at Great Hearts, introduces parents to the fundamentals of Spalding, the phonics and spelling program for grades K-5. View Ms. Clouse's video here.

We encourage parents to reach out to teachers directly for additional curricular resources.

As an Arizona state taxpayer, you direct where a portion of your state taxes go with the Arizona Public School Tax Credit.

Will you please contribute your Tax Credit to Archway Arete?

Individual filers can contribute up to $200 and joint filers can contribute up to $400. When you file your state taxes, you can claim your contribution and receive it back on your state tax return.
