We're making it easy for everyone to have access to our online services while the building is closed. Read on to learn more about our extended due dates, updated cards, and more.
While the library is closed, we want everyone to be able to take advantage of the thousands of services we have available in our Digital Library . So whether you can't remember your pin, or don't have a library card at all, we can help, and you'll be reading eBooks, learning a new language, or streaming movies in no time.
What to do if...

Your library card is about to expire?

Any library cards that were set to expire in March or April, which had less than $25 in fines, have been renewed through May 31. If your card expired before March, give us a call and we'll be happy to renew your card for you: call (914)502-9446, ext. 305.
You don't have a library card?

You can apply for a library card online ! Once we process your application, you'll receive an email with your library card number and you can use that number to access all of our online services. Once the building reopens, we'll send you your physical library card.
You don't remember your PIN?

We've all been there! When you login to our online catalog , there is a link underneath the PIN number or Password box that allows you to reset your password. Click on that, and you can get started setting a new PIN.

You have overdue books?

All due dates for items currently checked out have been extended and no fines will accrue on materials while the building is closed.

You have holds available?

Don't despair: if you've been eagerly awaiting a new book that came in for you before the building closed and you weren't able to pick it up in time, please know that holds will still be there when we re-open.

Your card was blocked?

No judgment here! Thanks to the hard work of the Westchester Library System IT staff, blocked cards are able to access our digital content.

If you have any questions or need further assistance with your library account, please reach out to us! You can reach us by phone at (914)502-9446, ext. 305, or by email .

You returned a book to the library and it's still showing up on your record as checked out?

Until the library is reopened, we aren't checking books back in. Any items you may have already returned will remain on your record until we reopen. We do ask that you not return your items to the library until we open again.
What digital services have we been using this weekend?
We've been taking advantage of being at home to learn a new language, entertain our kids, and, yes--catch up on our tabloid magazines.
It's the perfect opportunity to try Mango Languages . We will not embarrass ourselves at this point in time by trying to write in French, but we're trying!
Sesame Street is streaming on Kanopy Kids , which is amazing news for anyone with little ones or those who love nostalgia.
Did you know you can read current newspapers and magazines with PressReader ? We are fans of all things Meghan Markle, so thank you for your content, Us Weekly and OK !
