Greetings Soroptimists!

What do you call the Easter Bunny the day after Easter?

Tired! 

Well Spring has sure sprung and I think we are all glad for it. I'm sure you all are enjoying this spectacular weather and the bountiful bloom all that rain has brought us.

This week brings committee meetings, for a few groups the last of the year. Thank-you all for attending your committee gatherings and participating in this very important commitment to our club.

16 of us will be hitting the road on Friday, proudly representing SI Chico at the Sierra Nevada Regional conference in Reno. Stay tuned to Facebook as we promise to share our shenanigans on our private page.

It's another great week to be a Soroptimist!

NO LUNCHEON

It's that time of year again when we choose what committees we would like to be on next year. Please choose up to 3 committees, with 1 being your top pick.  You will ONLY be placed on 1 committee.  If you would like to be a Co-chair, please indicate that on the form and say what committee you want to Co-chair.  To view the duties of the different committees log onto the "Members Only" page of our website and click on "Handbook", then click on Section 3:  Committee Job Descriptions.

I am doing an updated inventory of our storage unit.  It has come to my attention that members still have stuff in their homes or garages that might or might not be on the inventory list.  Some items on the list are not in storage now and I have no clue what happened to them. I know some got removed when we moved to the new storage unit, but since I wasn't at the final move, I don't know who took them. The ones I know for sure that are checked out has your name beside them and the date you checked them out.  Please review the inventory list below and if you have any information please email me.

We couldn't do what we do at the Jesus Center without our volunteers! We hope you'll join us on Saturday, May 11 from 11 am to 2 pm at Wildwood Park (100 Wildwood Ave. Chico, CA) for hamburgers, hot dogs, and fun with fellow Jesus Center volunteers!
