The Keller Engineers Bridge Inspection Team recently had the opportunity to use a Hydra Platform on the Arroyo Bridge inspection in Elk County. This piece of equipment was a new experience for our Team and allowed Kevin Campbell, EIT, CBSI to view underneath the 341'-10" long, three-span, steel, multi-girder bridge built over the Clarion River.

Keller has been performing bridge safety inspections throughout Pennsylvania since 1993.

By the end of 2021, our Team will have inspected 205 bridges within Elk County, Mifflin County, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 9-0, and the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources State Parks and State Forests throughout the state.

Keller Engineers is once again proud to sponsor The Challenge Program for Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic High School (BG), Altoona, PA.

This program builds business/education partnerships to help students succeed in school and in their future career paths.

Students pictured are BG juniors and seniors who received Challenge Program Awards for their efforts towards attendance, STEM, community service, academic improvement, and academic excellence.

Representing Keller Engineers at the event was Jared Keller (last on right) who is himself a BG graduate!

It's Thanksgiving Time! And we were happy to donate two turkey dinners with all the fixings to the Turkey-THON sponsored by Forever Media radio station. Leapin' Lily, Froggy 98.1 greeted Katie Lipko and Diana McClure of our Business Development Division at the donation drop-off.

All donations from this event support the St Vincent de Paul Food Pantry in Altoona.

With the communities help, Forever Media collected hundreds of turkeys, thousands of non-perishable food items, and thousands of dollars in cash donations!

On Thursday, November 16th Keller Engineers welcomed seven students from Bellwood-Antis High School and Hollidaysburg Area High School for a career shadowing day.

Students toured our Hollidaysburg offices and had the opportunity to meet with various members of the Keller Team to learn what the field of engineering has to offer!

Family is important to Keller Engineers and on Wednesday, November 17 our Keller Family celebrated Thanksgiving together with a potluck luncheon. With everyone bringing a covered dish, appetizer, or dessert, all employees were certainty well fed for the day! But don't worry, we will all be recovered by November 25 to eat some more!

Job Title: Project Manager

Years at KEI: 16

What is your favorite family holiday tradition? - Cooking Thanksgiving dinner.

If you could choose one age to be forever, what age would it be and why? - I would say 30 because of being mature, able to hopefully make sound decisions, and able to physically do most everything.

What’s your favorite sports team? - I really don't have one favorite but since this was a Summer Olympic year. I would say the US Golf Team.

Who would you most like to switch places with for a day (could be anyone — a celebrity or even an animal!)? - Be an eagle for a day and get to fly and soar everywhere.

What is your favorite thing to do when you’re not working? - There are two things, spending time at our farm property with my wife Bonny and when not doing that...golfing.
