Located at the intersection of County Road-101 with Dunnings Highway in Claysburg, PA the rehabilitation project wrapped up on November 24, 2021.

The project was undertaken to correct roadway deterioration and drainage issues. Rehabilitation involved modifying the existing intersection to better accommodate truck turning movements, installing a new traffic island, curbing, milled rumble strip, and relocation of traffic signal components.

Milling of the existing bituminous pavement structure down to the existing concrete pavement, patching of the concrete pavement, placement of a new bituminous pavement structure, installation of a new drainage system, application of traffic line striping, and resetting of guiderail was also completed.

The main challenge of this project was maintaining one lane of traffic through the project site and intersection. This included coordination with the adjacent Sheetz store for short-term closures of one of the store driveways to accommodate construction activities.

Keller Engineers was responsible for Survey, Roadway Design, Drainage Design, landowner coordination/public outreach, PennDOT HOP Permitting, Utility Coordination, Plan Specifications & Estimate, and Construction Services.

Each year The Altoona Grand Hotel, Altoona PA kicks off the holiday season with the Avenue of Trees. This tradition combines festive merriment with caring and charity.

The trees line the hallways of the hotel's ballroom area and are visible to guests and visitors of The Altoona Grand.

For each tree that is decorated, donations are made to the US Marines Toys for Tots program.

Keller Engineers was once again happy to participate in this event and support the local community.

Keller Engineers' Water/Wastewater Division, along with W.C.Weil, recently donated pumps to the trout hatchery at the Hyndman Rod and Gun Club, Hyndman, PA. These pumps will help maintain water flow in the hatchery.

Trout raised here will be dispersed into streams and rivers in the Hyndman Borough and Londonderry Township areas of Bedford County.

Sam Mody, President of Keller Engineers of New Jersey, recently volunteered at the Ron Jaworski Foundation, titJaws Youth Playbook's 4th Annual Jaws Bike Drive!

This event provides bikes to children in underserved communities in and around Camden, NJ. Sam's two person team was responsible for inflating all the bike tires

To date, the program has donated over 1000 bikes to local children.

Christmas is a favorite time of year at Keller Engineers, as can be seen by our decked out office building in Hollidaysburg!

We strive to bring holiday cheer to the local area and truly wish everyone a Merry Christmas.

In fact, this year Keller is a sponsor of the 2nd Annual "Holiday Nights of Lights" at the Bedford Fairgrounds, Bedford, PA, organized by the Bedford County Chamber of Commerce.

And, 2021 marks the 25th Anniversary of "Lights on the Lake" at Lakemont Park, Altoona, PA. Keller has participated for all 25 years and sponsors the Avenue of Trees display featuring multiple trees completely wrapped in Christmas lights.
