2018 No-Till Alliance Annual Meeting Notice
At the conclusion of the Summer Field Day (3:15 p.m.) on July 26 at Don Cotner Farms in Danville, the PA No-Till Alliance will conduct its 2018 Annual Meeting. At this time, nominations will be accepted for four seats on the Board of Directors and an election conducted. Also on the agenda is a proposed by-law change that would require election of officers each year at the annual meeting (text of by-law change below). If this by-law change is approved, elections will then be held for President, Vice-President, and Secretary/Treasurer of the organization.
Proposed By-Law Change:
Amend Article V, Section 1 as follows:
ARTICLE V: ORGANIZATION - Board of Directors
Section 1. Officers, Election and Terms of Office.
The officers shall consist of President, Vice-President, and Secretary/Treasurer. Officers of the Board of Directors shall be elected each year
during the first Board Meeting
at the Annual Meeting.
This meeting will be held during the first quarter of the calendar year.
The terms of office shall be one (1) year with a maximum of three (3) consecutive years.
