Dear Friends of A Novel Experience,

As we move into lovely Spring weather and sunny skies we pause to take a breath after what, for many, was an intense, very busy first quarter of 2019. Maybe, a little bit too busy. If you have had a similiar experience, may we suggest a surefire way to wrest a moment or two of daily serenity from the commotion? Carve out 20 minutes to read a book. Put the phone in another room. Really.  Make a cup of coffee or pour a glass of wine. Read. See what happens--and stop by and let us know how it works...

We're welcoming the Palette Pals of Thomaston this month in the gallery. They're a great group of local artists who will gather this Saturday evening for a reception from 5-7--please stop on by and enjoy!

For authors, our biannual Authors Showcase is Saturday, May 18th.  This is an opportunity for authors to display and sell their books--and, meet other authors and share ideas. Bring a table to set up, give away treats, reach out to your fan base, and introduce your book. Give us a call at 770-567-1103 to let us know you're coming and to find out more.

Come see us and let us know what you're reading--and what the Easter Bunny brought you!

We're really looking forward to Melissa hosting our Storytime on the Square! It's an opportunity for children, ages 3 andup, to enjoy stories, crafts, music, and guest speakers. Melissa says "it's a time to build imagination, a love of reading, and community."

Melissa brings not only a love of reading and fun to the program--she has years of experience with children, having been a nanny, a parapro at the pre-K level, daycare teacher, and mom. She had a successful Storytime in Griffin for many years, and now, she's come home to Pike and A Novel Exoerience!
