While the city talks about numbers, we talk about names. While others debate how to manage the symptoms of a broken society, we are still right here in the chapel where Dr. Martin Luther King Jr was laid in repose after his assassination, but where now, men reclaim their dignity.
You won’t see us chasing headlines. We’re too busy in the kitchen, in the learning lab, and in the circle… We are doing the minute-by-minute, hour-by-hour steady, unglamorous work of empowering men to break cycles, reclaim their lives, and return to where they belong: as fathers, as sons, as mentors, and as leaders in our communities.
When a man finds his footing, the ripple effect is immediate. A homeless encampment under the bridge comes down, not because it was “swept”, but because a man walked out of it with a renewed understanding and a path with a purpose. Public spaces heal because private lives are being restored. Families are stitched back together.
Unfortunately, the giving-landscape that historically supported our ministry is changing. It has been a struggle all year long to raise the funds we need. The basic compassion required to do this deep, transformative work is rarer now. The urgency is real, but our resolve hasn't wavered. We aren’t panicked; we’re persistent. But we cannot carry this quiet weight alone.
Feeding His sheep was never meant to be a seasonal task. It is a daily commitment. It is not an exaggeration to say we could use your support today! (9/2/2026)
