The battery-recycle-incineration facility will be built in Endicott if “we” don’t stop it. And "we" need help! The Brainstorming discussion will be held on Zoom to solicit your ideas and suggestions on what NoBurnBroome should be doing and how we can involve more people. The discussion will be held next Wednesday at 7:30 – 8:30 pm.

Breaking News:
The Broome County Democratic Committee has called for the immediate resignations of Endicott Mayor Linda Jackson and Deputy Mayor Cheryl Chapman
in response to Chapman’s “very inappropriate Facebook repost of a meme stating “White Lives Matter!!!! Bet you wont [sic] repost.”
The Committee stated
,
“The recent actions of the elected leadership of the Village of Endicott are not only racist but a dereliction of duty that both the Mayor and the Deputy Mayor were sworn to uphold. The Broome County Democratic Party takes a dim view of such behavior. We stand firmly behind our Party Platform, which says, in part, that “we will push for a societal transformation to make it clear that black lives matter and that there is no place for racism in our country.” The preceding excerpt makes it perfectly clear - there is no place for racism in our country and the Broome County Democratic Committee stands 100% behind this belief. We cannot condone anyone’s actions, a member of the Democratic Party or not, that go against the principle that Black Lives Matter. As a result of the above, The Broome County Democratic Committee is formally requesting the immediate resignation of Cheryl Chapman, Deputy Mayor of the Village of Endicott and Linda Jackson, Mayor of the Village of Endicott.”
