Othello
This is just one of the many grim pearls of wisdom an audience to Othello might capture as they behold this masterwork fable of ill-fated love and hand-wringing deceit. Truly it is a pleasure to see the Bard’s words come to life here, in the NoHo Arts District — and it’s all due to the abundant passion and commitment of the fine folks at J-P Theater Productions. Eccentricities of a Nightingale
The Eccentricities of a Nightingale is beautifully cast. Every actor’s performance is believable and really wonderfully done. The direction is both complex and restrained with some truly lovely touches. The two young actors who play Alma and John as children and quaintly introduce each scene are adorable and add such a lovely reminder of where it all began and the possibilities of life.

HIGH MAINTENANCE
High Maintenance is a comic, albeit an unnerving glimpse into our near future. Full of wonderful observational comedy deftly directed and artfully acted. A sobering stare into the future of art as a whole. I’m sure the actors on stage and, especially the very fine actor playing the robot, must be more than a little alarmed by the almost reality of this excellent story.
