The award-winning principal dancer with the New York City Ballet makes her directorial debut in this California tour, and shares the spotlight with an eclectic line-up choreographer Alonzo King, fellow NYCB dancers, and the reigning diva of tap dance, Michelle Dorrance. The Gospel at Colonus

September 7-30

Experience theater under the stars at the Getty Villa. “The Gospel at Colonus” infuses an abundant joy and forgiveness into the space. As Oedipus aches with a yearning to be understood and released from the dark mantle of his life, the songs rise to meet this epic task. Beautifully written, powerfully and gorgeously performed, the words ancient and the meaning as purposeful and as profound as it ever was."

Freud on Cocaine

“Freud on Cocaine” is utterly sublime storytelling. It takes an insane moment in our collective history and twists it into art that is hilariously relatable, heartrendingly real and intensely entertaining. Howard Skora has a wicked way of turning pain into humor while still maintaining its original effect on his characters and their stories. “Freud on Cocaine” is an absolute trip! An Infinite Ache

Magical moments, painful moments, pivotal moments. Waves and waves of polaroids in the relationship between a woman and a man from the beginning to the end and for their entire lives. It’s poetry acted out in a love story of shadow and light. Wildly funny at times and brutally honest, I was absolutely mesmerized by this raw unfettered outpouring of emotion. Review>>

Walking in Space

A really fascinating story and told with all the insight and nuance of one who’s been at the center of it. The characters are incredibly believable, their relationship to each other deep and visceral, with humor and secrets being their bond.
