Due to restrictions resulting from the onset of COVID-19, a number of planned arts projects were abruptly cancelled. The City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA), The Durfee Foundation and Community Partners aim to provide relief to LA-based performing artists who were financially affected by this disruption.

from SOLOFEST 2020, the largest solo theater festival on the West Coast now in its eighth year that was to bring 80 shows in 90 days celebrating solo artists from around the globe, until the corona virus pandemic made it necessary to postpone the remaining shows, as well as the BEST OF FEST encore. But COVID19 won’t keep Los Angeles theatre down. The show(s) will go on. BEST OF FEST 2020 is now available May 16 - July 18 via live stream from the Whitefire Theatre.
