Dear Noble Families,
We are coming to the end of what has been a very challenging year. As 2020 draws to a close, I want to thank our students, families, teachers and staff for your patience, resilience, flexibility, and support as we have worked to learn a brand new way of being in school.
Yesterday (December 16), Governor Tim Walz announced several updates which impact our students, families and staff. The Governor prioritized in-person learning for elementary students.
The Minnesota’s Updated Safe Learning Plan states that early learning programs and elementary schools across the state can shift to an in-person or hybrid learning model beginning Jan. 18, 2021. Schools will need to follow additional safety procedures and bring students back in rolling, or tiered, start dates. This letter, which was sent to all Robbinsdale Area Schools families, has more information.
The district is looking to transition our PreK through 2nd grade to full in-person learning on Tuesday, January 19, and grades 3-5 beginning February 1. As with previous plans during the pandemic, please note that these are tentative dates. We will keep you informed of updates as the district continues to develop a learning model transition plan.
We will all keep doing the best that we can to take care of our Noble Lions, no matter which learning model is implemented.
Happy holidays, everyone! Best wishes to all for a safe, happy and relaxing winter break.
Sincerely,
Principal Michael Rieckenberg

Educational/Meal Benefits Applications
|
|
Please complete by
Friday, December 18 (tomorrow)
|
Please complete an Educational/Meals Benefits Application if you have not done so this year. Families who qualify receive the direct benefits of free breakfast and lunch, as well as reduced fees for some activities and resources. Although meals are free to all students for this school year, the educational/meals benefits applications are needed to receive state and federal funds that are given to each school to support students who need additional resources.
