Dear Noble Families,

Greetings from Noble on this fine December day. As we continue with Distance Learning PLUS, I hope that all of our Noble Lions are succeeding in attending classes, completing assignments, and most importantly, staying safe and healthy.

Each month, from now until the end of the school year, we will feature important positive character traits that we all need in order to be happy, successful, and helpful. The character trait for the month of December is "Responsibility". We would love to see ways that Noble students are being responsible at home and "at school". Look for information in this newsletter to see how students can share their responsible actions.

Next week, the Hour of Code event will take place. The Hour of Code takes place each year during Computer Science Education Week. It is a worldwide effort to celebrate computer science. Thanks to Mrs. Cori Roton, our wonderful computer science teacher, for once again getting Noble involved with this event. More information will be sent via email on Monday, December 7.

Have a great rest of the week and weekend. Be well!

Sincerely,

Principal Michael Rieckenberg

Please send stories, photos, or videos showing responsibility to Mrs. Powers on SeeSaw or Schoology, or email rebecca_powers@rdale.org. We will show your responsible behaviors on the Noble News (posted every day on the Noble Elementary Facebook Page).

All children, 18 years of age and under, will get free breakfast and lunch during the 2020-21 school year. During Distance Learning PLUS, families can pick up the 7-day meal bundles from one of the meal distribution sites listed below (NOTE: Neill has replaced Sandburg as a meal pick up site). Simply park your vehicle, put on a face covering and walk up to the door with signage. Let staff know how many are in your household 18 and under, and we’ll set you up with meal bundles.

For more information,

Schools do receive funding based on the percentage of families who qualify for meal benefits. If you believe your family qualifies, please complete this Meal Benefits Application if you have not done so already.
