Celebrating Our Togetherness
Greetings from quarantine! Life has been surprisingly busy. I've been teaching lessons via Zoom to my F&M and Music For Everyone Student Strings students, giving virtual concerts on Facebook Live, and getting some much needed things done at home. It's ironic that while we wait for this dark time to pass, the natural world is bursting with life. I notice beauty everywhere. The deep blue sky. The new buds on trees. Jake and Jessie (our chocolate labs) rolling in the grass and chasing flies. I have so much to be thankful for!

Life in this "new normal" is stressful for all of us. I encourage you to be gentle with yourself. Do the things that make you feel happy and good. Get out in nature. Listen to music. Breathe. We are all in this together, and soon we'll be making music in person again!

Most notably yours,
Michael
Jake, Jessie, and JJ (my parent's dog, who is also Jake's cousin). Soaking up the Vitamin D!
A recent MFE Student Strings rehearsal on Zoom. Such troopers!

Frances Veri
Frances Veri has had a long and successful career that began at Juilliard at age 16. While a student there, she won the illustrious and illusive Concerto Competition, met her husband, Michael Jamanis Sr., and went on to perform with him at Lincoln Center and many other well-known venues. We are lucky and grateful to have her for this very special event!
