The Staff-Parish Relations Committee of Noel UMC is pleased to announce that Matt Tarver has been hired as Director of Youth Ministries. Matt comes from a strong faith background and has dedicated his life to enriching the lives of young people.

Matt teaches seventh- and eighth-grade social studies at The Montessori School for Shreveport, a position that he will continue to hold. He and his family attend Noel's Contemporary Worship, where he frequently sits-in as a guitarist with the Contemporary Worship Band. Matt is a faithful father, husband, and follower of Christ. He is looking forward to stepping into his new role.

"Over the past year and a half, my family and I have gotten to know a lot of the people here at Noel," Tarver said. "It feels like home to us, now."

Please join us in extending a warm Noel welcome to The Tarvers as they begin this new chapter. Matt's first day serving as Director of Youth Ministries is today, August 3.
