Our Distinguished Graduates Award Program serves to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of College of Nursing alumni for their outstanding contributions to the healthcare of patients, through nursing care, research, and their demonstration of the ethics and values of the nursing profession. Award recipients are selected by the Nole Nurse Alumni Council.

This year we currently have four categories for nomination:

Student Day of Caring

Our second in-person Student Day of Caring was a huge success. Over 80 students joined six of our alumni to learn about health and wellness for new nurses. Thanks to our amazing sponsor MedAffinityEHR, they were treated to lunch and did small group mentorship with our alums! Special thank you to the Nole Nurse Alumni Council for hosting the event and to Dr. Diane Raines, Nola Lanham, Berinice Mercer-Lewis, Dr. Katie Saunders, Malinda Folkert, and Gabe Kuhn for joining and sharing their words of wisdom with future Nole nurses!

Celebrating Alumni Accomplishments & Awards

Nola Lanham, Social Media Director for the Nole Nurse Alumni Council and Director of Learning and Development at Baptist Health, received the DAISY Award for Leadership from Baptist Health earlier this month. Congratulations Nola!
