Nominate OC's Distinguished HR Leaders

The Orange County Business Journal is seeking nominations for its Distinguished Leaders in HR, a special feature publishing March 27. Your company and its executives are invited to submit a nomination that will help determine this year’s honorees.


This special section will recognize individuals and the dedication they put into managing an ever-changing corporate culture. From dealing with the call for hybrid and remote work, more robust wellness programs and benefits to the demands of recruiting in a challenging job market, HR executives have had their hands full. 


The deadline to nominate an individual for this feature is Monday, March 6.

Some Relief for High Natural Gas Bills

The California Public Utilities Commission recently reported that it has accelerated the timeframe in which residential energy customers will receive a Climate Credit on their bills to provide much-needed support to folks experiencing unusually high natural gas bills this winter.

Free Tax Assistance

The Sea Country Senior and Community Center is now providing FREE one-hour tax assistance appointments to folks 60 and older.

 

Administered in cooperation with AARP and the IRS, the program features IRS-certified volunteers providing assistance and income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.
