Upcoming Expert Lecture Series
Considering a job with the Federal Government?
Join us on Tues, Aug 23 at 8p EST for
Dr. Terrence Vincent’s lecture!

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
  • Review the different federal branches in which podiatrists may serve

  • Required qualifications and demands of federal service

  • Benefits of serving as a federal podiatrist

Dr. Vincent worked in federal services for 7 years. He obtained his undergraduate degree at St Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX and then received his podiatric degree from The Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (now Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine).

Dr. Vincent is a proud member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma and is one of the first podiatrists of his tribe. Dr. Vincent started his career serving the Muscogee Creek Nation Healthcare system tribal facilities as the Director of their wound care program and Indian Health Services. In addition to his regular podiatric duties, he helped supervise the high risk diabetic foot program and facilitate wound care access system-wide.

Dr. Vincent then joined the Eastern Oklahoma VA Healthcare System at the Muskogee, Oklahoma location, the Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center, where he was appointed as the first surgical podiatrist of the system, became the podiatry lead for his department, and helped set up the high-risk foot program.

Dr. Vincent is honored to continue to serve U.S. veterans and those of Native heritage.

The ACPM Expert Lecture Series is particularly targeted to students and residents, however, all ACPM Fellows are invited to join and benefit.

CME and/or MOC credits are not provided in the Expert Lecture Series.
