Named for Dr. Sol J. Barer, former BioNJ Chair, former Chair & CEO of Celgene Corporation and Board Chair for Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, the 2027 Dr. Sol J. Barer Award for Vision, Innovation and Leadership will be presented by Dr. Barer at BioNJ's 34th Annual Dinner Meeting and Innovation Celebration on Thursday, February 10, 2027, at the Hilton East Brunswick.
The Award recognizes outstanding biopharma industry business leaders who have made significant contributions to his or her own organization as well as to the growth and prosperity of the industry in New Jersey and beyond.
Submit your nomination by Friday, October 23, 2026. Please describe in 250 words or less why you think your nominee qualifies for the Dr. Sol J. Barer Award.
Information provided in the nomination should address, but is not limited to:
- Nominee's contribution to his or her company and/or organization, i.e., establishing an innovative new organization, moving an established organization forward, mentoring employees, etc.
- Nominee's contributions to New Jersey's biopharma community.
- Nominee's contributions to the life sciences community on a local, State, national or global basis.
