The Tribal Agriculture Fellowship (TAF) is currently accepting nominations and self-nominations for our Board of Directors. We welcome nominations from those who know exceptional leaders who would be a strong fit for TAF. Before submitting a nomination, please connect with the individual to confirm they are interested and willing to be considered for board service.
We are seeking a board member with a strong network and a passion for building meaningful relationships that advance TAF's mission. This individual will serve as an ambassador for the organization, helping cultivate new partnerships, expand our network, and create opportunities that strengthen our impact. Whether through strategic collaborations, industry relationships, philanthropic engagement, or community connections, they understand the power of authentic relationships and the lasting value they create.
We are particularly interested in leaders who can advance the organization's long-term sustainability by expanding our network of supporters, cultivating strategic partnerships, identifying new opportunities for investment, and strengthening our capacity to serve Indigenous agricultural communities.
Board Member Commitments include:
- Quarterly meetings (1 in-person, 3 virtual)
- Reviewing monthly organizational updates
- Preparation and review of board materials prior to meetings
We are seeking to onboard before mid-August to attend a special 2-day in-person meeting from August 24th - 26th. All travel and accommodations are covered by TAF.
