On Wednesday, November 7, at the Hotel DuPont in Wilmington, we will be celebrating 20 years of excellence in business at our Marvin S. Gilman Superstars in Business Awards Luncheon. This event recognizes businesses of different sizes for the innovations and contributions they have made to the business community. The keynote speaker this year is Scott Kammerer of SoDel Concepts.

Is a Master's the New Bachelor's?

The number of master's degrees conferred by U.S. institutions has risen dramatically since 1980. According to data from the National Center for Education Statistics, 303,000 master’s degrees were conferred in 1980. Flash forward to 2012, and the figure rose to 754,000.
