Dear BOSAA Family:
This note is to inform you that the Committee has decided to extend the nomination process for the upcoming elections for the next Executive Board of the Black Organization of Students Alumni Association. The Nominations process deadline was originally set for today, October 1, 2020. We have extended the deadline to October 5, 2020. The Nomination Acceptance Process will now be conducted between October 5, 2020 and October 9, 2020. Election dates will remain the same: October 15 through October 19, 2020.
As a reminder, the following positions are open for nomination:
- President, two-year term;
- Vice President, two-year term;
- Treasurer, two-year term; and
- Secretary, two-year term.
The terms will commence on November 1, 2020.
One form per person. Nominations must be received no later than October 7, 2020.
I personally encourage you to run for office or to nominate another member. Only through our volunteer efforts, each taking a turn, will we be able to continue building
a strong, active, and successful alumni association.
Since February of 1969, BOS has been a part of a community and roots-based struggle for equality. We've come a long way, but we've got a long way to go and we need everyone to pitch in and help.
