NAMI Maryland's Annual Meeting

Hello NAMI,


NAMI Maryland will be holding its Annual Meeting on Saturday, June 15th, 2024. The Board Development and Nominating Committee (BDNC) is currently conducting a search for candidates to be considered for the slate of several Board of Director positions that will be voted upon at the meeting. Per NAMI Maryland's bylaws, candidates may be nominated by an individual member or by a NAMI affiliate.

To be considered, candidates must:



  • Provide a resume, a short bio, and statement indicating their consent to serve on the Board.



  • Be willing to serve a three-year term of office.


  • Agree to serve on a committee during their term.


  • Possess knowledge, skills, or abilities that will advance the mission of NAMI Maryland.
Board Member Responsibilties and Expectations

Applicants will be asked to complete an application and skills inventory profile that describes their relevant background and experience, in addition to their resume and short biographical statement.


The deadline for the submission of completed applications is Friday, April 26th, 2024. 

 

Candidates will be contacted and screened by the BDNC for compliance with the requirements listed above. All candidates who pass the screening process will be listed on the ballot to be distributed at the Annual Meeting in June. The BDNC may also develop a recommended slate of nominees from those on the ballot.
