Any currently enrolled student is welcome to come by during operating hours and receive non-perishable food items, fresh produce, and toiletries.


Bodega neighbors the main cafeteria on the east side (by the science building).

  • All students must provide photo ID (SMC student ID, Driver's License, passport, etc.) and have your student ID number ready.
  • Bags are not always available, so make sure to bring your own reusable bags!

At the Center for Wellness and Wellbeing (CWW) we provide a holistic range of timely, inclusive, culturally appropriate and effective mental health services to our diverse student body. The CWW also provides professional consultation to faculty and staff and promotes the personal wellbeing of students.

Fall 2023 Hours

Monday to Thursday: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.; 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. (remote and limited in-person services)

Friday: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (remote services only)

We are located on the main campus in the Math Complex, room 75.

We are available for remote (video and phone) and limited in-person appointments. Appointments must be scheduled in advance. If you are interested in a same-day appointment, please call (310) 434-4503 to check for availability.

Listening Activities
StudentLingo offers 50 online Student Success workshops that are available to the SMC community 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. These interactive workshops can help students achieve their personal, academic, and career goals. Workshops include time management, reading comprehension, difficulties with on-line learning, study skills, and more.
You can access the workshop here from a mobile device, laptop, or computer and by following the registration instructions. Students, be sure to use your SMC email to register/sign-in.

How to Access WiFi: 

  1. Visit Bundy Campus East Parking Lot from Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.
  2. You must be a currently enrolled SMC student.
  3. See a Parking Enforcement Officer (PEO) at the Bundy campus for a permit.
  4. Log in with your SMC user name and password.
  5. Maximum time limits may be imposed.
  6. Look for signage indicating WiFi area.
