We Help You Help Others - Dayton Crayons to Classrooms
For more than a decade, Dayton Crayons to Classrooms (DC2C) has been providing free school supplies for teachers of students in need. But did you know that this nonprofit organization began as a leadership initiative of The Dayton Foundation and the Mathile Family Foundation?

Register Now for Fall Nonprofit Workshop Series
Registration is now open for Dayton SCORE's fall nonprofit workshop series. The Dayton Foundation is pleased to support the series, which offers free nonprofit workshops led by local experts and volunteers. Foundation Awards $24.3M in Grants to Area Nonprofits
In the first half of 2018, fund holders of The Dayton Foundation awarded more than 6,800 grants totaling $24.3 million to not-for-profit organizations locally and across the country.

Among these were discretionary and Greenlight Grants awarded to address emerging community needs and opportunities, such as expanding a business that employs homeless youth and developing an outdoor community theater.
