Animal Welfare Grants


Animal Welfare grants (up to $25,000) support organizations that serve animals and promote their humane care. Funding priorities will focus on emergency veterinary treatment for urgent cases or extraordinary medical needs.


The application will open on November 1, 2023, and close on December 15, 2023.

2nd Quarterly Giving Challenge

Virtual Open House

The Community Foundation’s Giving Challenge team will be hosting our second Virtual Open House. Pop on and off anytime during this one-hour session to ask your 2024 Giving Challenge question(s). You can also stay for the whole hour to hear and learn from questions asked by other nonprofit leaders.

Need assistance with developing or updating your organization's profile in The Giving Partner? Join us on any Friday from now through January 12 and attend a virtual open houses to ask our staff any questions regarding The Giving Partner. A session will not occur on November 24 due to the holiday.

Community Project Grants

Florida Humanities’ Community Project Grants awards up to $10,000 to support humanities-based learning experiences. This funding opportunity aims to increase public participation in — and access to — the humanities by providing relevant, engaging, and meaningful humanities-based programming to all. At its core, Community Project Grants embody our mission to preserve, promote and share the history, literature, culture and personal stories that offer Floridians a better understanding of themselves, their communities and their state.
