Animal Welfare Grants

Application Closes December 29, 2024


Animal Welfare Grants (up to $25,000) support organizations that serve animals and promote their humane care in Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, and DeSoto counties. 


The application closes December 29, 2024.

Masala Giving Circle Grants

Application Closes December 31, 2024


The Masala Giving Circle Grant (up to $10,000) is awarded to organizations that benefit African American/Black communities in Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, and/or Desoto counties.

 

The Masala Grant opened on October 31, and closes December 31, 2024.

Application Closes January 5, 2025


Programmatic grants support organizations and programs that provide access to education, health care, or basic human needs for people who face systemic barriers in our community.

Suncoast Disaster Recovery Fund Grants

Application Closes January 15, 2025


The Suncoast Disaster Recovery Fund is currently accepting applications for typical disaster recovery funding gaps as well as areas of enduring need throughout the four-county region.

Become a Scholarship Committee Volunteer

Do you want to help open opportunities, realize possibilities, and transform dreams into reality for students across our community? Be a part of their life-changing journey by becoming a Scholarship Committee Volunteer.

 

Each year, the Community Foundation welcomes volunteers from around our community to review scholarship applications to help determine award recipients. This volunteer opportunity is completely virtual and can be done in the comfort of your home.

2Gen Connections: Save the Date

8:45 AM - 11:30 AM, February 18, 2025

Join us for the next event in 2Gen Connections, our peer-to-peer series designed to strengthen community-wide 2Gen strategies. The February event will focus on lived experience voice engagement. Participants will hear from individuals with a variety of lived experiences, followed by workgroup discussions on how to develop authentic engagement with lived experience voices within your organization.

Traditional Grants

Application Closes January 15, 2025


The William G. and Marie Selby Foundation awards traditional grants twice each year.


Organizations with budgets greater than $300,000 that primarily serve Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte and DeSoto counties have the opportunity to apply.

Application Closes February 1, 2025


Manatee Community Foundation's Grant Cycle 2 is now open for applications.


The committee prioritizes grants that serve Manatee County and address needs in the arts, human services, education, animal welfare, environmental stewardship, civic engagement, and health.
