Last month, we shared with you that The Giving Partner was launching two new features to help your organization – the Donate Button and Boost Fundraising Suite. We are excited to announce that these features can now be applied to your profile to enhance your organization's donation and fundraising opportunities! You may review the feature benefits in the July edition of Nonprofit News. 

These features will go far in helping to bridge your fundraising-technology gap. If you wish to get started, here are your next steps:  


Get Verified to Collect Donations 
Login to your profile in The Giving Partner and click on the left menu: Manage Organization > Verification > Get Verified to Collect Donations 
Opt-In to Utilize the Boost Fundraising Suite 
Use the following login information to opt-in, if you would like to participate in a special promotion to get started with Boost Fundraising Suite through November 15, 2020*.  
Password: TheGivingPartner

*As a reminder, please know that both the Donate Button and Boost Fundraising Suite are not required: these features are “opt-in” only. As described in the webinar, subscription fees are tied to the Boost Fundraising Suite if you elect to continue after the special promotion expires.

Peer-to-Peer Webinar Opportunity

In this webinar, we will review how you can leverage Peer-to-Peer Fundraising and Matching Incentives in your The Giving Partner or Boost campaigns. We will take a walk through how you can easily to use this functionality on the platform, as well as best practices and strategies for getting the most out of these features.
Last month, we shared an opportunity to learn more about Give 8/28, a national charitable giving day dedicated to inspiring philanthropy by and for Black communities. Since then, several local nonprofit organizations have registered to participate in this third annual give day on August 28, 2020.

As a way to encourage local involvement, the Community Foundation of Sarasota County awarded $250 grants to the first 20 nonprofit organizations who registered to participate within Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, and DeSoto counties. More than ten organizations voiced their interest to join the give day hosted by the Young, Black and Giving Back (YBGB) Institute, which has been offered since 2018.

Census 2020 Deadline Approaches! 

The Census 2020 deadline is now September 30th. Encourage your employees, coworkers, friends and family to take five minutes to complete the Census online or over the phone. Florida and our local community depends on billions of dollars in federal funding allocated based on a complete and accurate Census count every 10 years. This funding supports everything from schools and hospitals to emergency response and congressional districting.
