The Giving Challenge Is One Year Away

The Community Foundation of Sarasota County is excited to announce that we will host our 10th Giving Challenge from noon to noon, April 15-16, 2026. Mark your calendars as we count down to the diamond anniversary of this transformative event.

The first step toward eligibility to take part in the

Giving Challenge is to ensure that your profile is current in The Giving Partner. Log in to your profile and update your organization's information. Refer to the Annual Update Checklist in the Nonprofit Toolkit to identify any additional updates needed.

Next, read the 2024 Giving Challenge Nonprofit Survey Report on our website. Consider your goals for 2026 based on nonprofit campaign performance data from 2024. See comparisons between organizations in various sectors and budgets.

Our foundation is proud to serve Charlotte, DeSoto, Manatee, and Sarasota counties. Together, we make up a vibrant region connected by economic ties, environmental resources, and community priorities. Each county, however, has its own unique characteristics.


New on our Community Indicators Dashboard is the Regional Summary section, providing a county-by-county view of key indicators that affect the well-being and development of each area.

Impact100 SRQ Grant Applications Now Open

The Deadline to Qualify Is May 30.


Impact100 SRQ, a group of local women who come together to fund transformational grants for eligible nonprofits in Sarasota and Manatee counties, is currently accepting grant applications.


To apply, nonprofit representatives must complete and submit an online Eligible to Apply Form by May 30. Once a nonprofit's eligibility is confirmed, they have until June 30 to submit a Grant Application.
