When conducting a recruitment search, nonprofits often contend with budgetary constraints, making it difficult to attract and hire suitably qualified staff. In the first article of our Talent Innovation series, we outline five best practices to ensure organizations attract and qualify top talent during the hiring process.
The Power of Planning: Making the Most of Your Year-End Appeal
Nonprofits are beginning to plan for the busiest season of the year – year-end giving. Did you know that giving in December accounts for 30% of total annual giving with the final three days of December alone accounting for 10% of total annual giving? Ensure that your year-end appeal is both prosperous and low-stress with these planning tips.
Buck the Trend and Retain Your Fundraisers

A recent study from The Chronicle of Philanthropy found that 51% of fundraisers plan to leave their jobs by 2021 and almost a third of fundraisers say they recently left or plan to leave the development field altogether in the next two years. Not sure how to get your fundraising staff to stick around? Orr Group  Managing Director Craig Shelley ’s  newest article up now on  NonProfit PRO  provides some insightful advice on how to do just that.
