Fundraising in a Virtual Environment
During the COVID-19 pandemic, organizations had to use more virtual methods to ask donors for support, according to a blog post by local fundraising consulting firm The Curtis Group. That trend is not likely to end. To help make your virtual ask successful, follow these tips:
  • Schedule a prep call and discuss meeting flow
  • Check your technology, lighting, and internet
  • Ask questions to better understand why the donor is involved in your organization
  • Share your organization's vision and how it aligns with the donor's interest
  • Make a specific request that includes a dollar figure or a range

Find out what The Curtis Group recommends next in this blog post here.
