Thor enjoys our private dog park.
Hello, Dog Friends. Meet Thor.
Being stuck at home social distancing can be lonely. Thor and his Mom and Dad needed a break. So last week, they ventured across the river from South Austin and drove up (traffic free) to our beautiful private dog park in Pflugerville. They watched the sunset and let Thor stretch his legs a bit! Although very few people are traveling out of town these days, reserving our private dog park has become quite popular! Having 5 acres all to yourself for a couple hours can really renew your spirit and give your pup the exercise he needs to stay healthy and happy. That's a win-win for all of us! Reserve your spot today.

In this issue, we highlight the three main services (this being one of them) that are still in need during the pandemic, and let you in on a new video series coming your way. Even from the comfort of your living room, our goal is to continue to improve your dogs' lives and to inspire all of you who love those furry friends. And if there are other ways we can help, please reach out and let us know. We're here for you!
Online Training Success!

Our training team is getting really creative when it comes to helping you train your pups! Whitney is now teaching Puppy, Basics, and Manners & Impulse Control classes all via Zoom! We are seeing clients have great success learning to train their dogs in the comfort and safety of their homes. For the socialization aspect, post COVID meetups are planned to give dogs a chance to see their classmates after their moms and dads have time to practice all these new skills.
Not only do you get the same great training, but as a bonus, online classes come with a link to the recorded video and the slide deck, so that you can go back and review as needed. What a treat!

Board & Train -
In (the Trainer's) Home!

Sarah has been working with Lucy this month, while her parents are sheltering in place at home. Board and Train is a goal oriented and immersive training experience designed to jump start your training goals.
Watch Sarah and Lucy work together and see how easy it is for dogs to learn using force-free, positive methods! Board & Train clients get frequent links to videos like this, so they can see the progress their dog is making and understand how to transfer those new skills to home life when she returns to her family. Working from home with your dog is RUFF .

Everyone is giving advice online about how to work from home with your dog! But why learn from others (who may not be giving good advice), when you can learn from DogBoy's?!

Whitney Spence, CPDT-KA, offers 3 easy tips you can do at home to help you get some work done while your velcro dog is begging for your attention. Of course, if you'd rather, you're always welcome here for daycare!

Daycare and Evaluations Continue

Thankfully, daycare is still going strong, and we have plenty of room for evaluations. If you need a break (or your dog needs a break), we're here for you! If you just want to get that evaluation out of the way in preparation for a (hopefully) soon trip, we're happy to oblige. Ivory just got her Green/Silver card and is ready to play!

Just a reminder that we're giving 25% off to first responders and medical personnel during this time to say a big THANK YOU for all you are doing to keep us safe. We are all so grateful for those of you who are still trying to help keep our business going in so many different ways - it really means the world to us!
