NORTH FLORIDA TRANSPORTATION PLANNING ORGANIZATION

First/Last Mile Pedestrian Safety Improvement Study: Normandy Blvd. (Duval)

This study’s goal is to improve pedestrian and bicyclist access to and from transit.

Planners studied eight bus stops along Normandy Boulevard (JTA Route 14) by identifying and prioritizing infrastructure needs—such as sidewalks, bike lanes, and crosswalks—to enhance safety, increase transit ridership and support safer first- and last-mile connections.
