Healthy Tips for a Busy Holiday Season
Plus check out our NEW website!
From Ande Masoncup,
Asst. Superintendent of Rec

It's the Most Wonderful time of the Year! The holiday season is arriving, and with it brings lots of joy, laughter and togetherness. This wonderful season can also bring more stress than usual. We tend to stress about gift giving, party foods, family get togethers and more. During this time, we find that we may be exercising a little less because there is shopping to be done and parties to attend. Exercise helps us cope with stress, so during the holidays, try and make it a priority to fit it in your schedule.

Here are just a few ideas to sneak in your exercise routine during the holiday season:
  • Pack a healthy lunch and take a walk on your break at work instead of going out
  • Start your day early and exercise before work
  • Go for walk in the evening (remember to bundle up!) if you were not able to make it to the fitness center

We are excited to debut our newly-designed website...it's bigger, bolder and better!

 New features include:
  • Home page slider with the most pertinent information you need to know
  • Facility Hours scroller easily accessible on the home page
  • Group Fitness classes organized with a Google calendar to give you the most up-to-date schedule
  • Large visual posts on what's new at Norris
We hope that you find it user-friendly and easy to navigate.
