ART SPARKS JOY!
The 22nd Chocolate & Chalk Art Festival will take place next Saturday - no street festival this year but lots of joy - our theme this year! Please come out and bring DAD!
MAKE ART! With no fees to artists, areas of sidewalk are assigned for you to create your own fanciful chalk drawings. Please register at the event booth at Shattuck & Cedar for your spot and pick up a box of colorful artist's chalk for $10.
A CHALK ART CONTEST for the best drawing will be judged after 4PM. Top three winners will receive cash prizes and Ten runners up get a $25 gift certificate from Books, Inc.
EAT CHOCOLATE! This year, due to COVID, no formal tasting menu or tickets will be produced. This year’s chocolate delights will be available for sale at our local businesses, including blueberry bread pudding with white chocolate sauce, a serious selection of chocolate cupcakes at Cupcakin' Bake Shop, cake pops and gluten free choices at Love at First Bite, truffles at Zoonie's Candy Shop, and gelato at Lush Gelato.
You can also get peruse chocolate cookbooks from Books, Inc., sample port wines at Vintage Berkeley and stop by M. Lowe & Company and enter their raffle for a chocolate diamond jewelry piece!
