The first day of classes is just around the corner:
- Freshmen and sophomores report on Monday, August 22, 2022. (Juniors and seniors stay home.)
- Juniors and seniors report on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. (Freshmen and sophomores stay home.)
- All students report on Wednesday, August 24 and for the rest of the week.
Schedules will be distributed on the first day of school. Faculty and staff will be on campus to guide students. Please review the "Getting Started at NC" document for more information about the parent and student portal, uniforms, transportation, etc. It also provides contact information for the various administrative offices at NC.

CATHOLIC MEN'S GROUP NIGHT WITH FR. BOBER
The Catholic Men's Group invites all North Catholic men to a night of fellowship on August 18, 2022. Fr. Charles Bober will be the featured speaker and will discuss:
"What Abraham, David and Job can teach us men today"
Doors will open at 5:30. Hamburgers and Hot Dogs will be served at 6pm. Fr. Bober will begin speaking at 7pm.
The cost is $10 per person and all attendees are asked to RSVP by August 15. Click on the photo of Fr. Bober to register.

MARIANIST WOMEN'S MINISTRY
The Marianist Women's Ministry (MWM) at North Catholic would like to invite all new and returning parents, grandparents, family members, and friends to join us to pray a Rosary for our North Catholic students, faculty, families and alumni every Wednesday at 2:15pm at the Mary Grotto behind the school. The group meets in the chapel on inclement weather days. Our first prayer meeting for this school year will be August 24th. Please join us and help intercede for our NC Community!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Saint Alphonus Harvest Home Dinner
This year's Harvest Home Dinner takes place on Sunday, September 11 from 12:30PM - 6:30PM and is accompanied by the annual St. Alphonsus Twilight Fun Run & 5K taking place on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 6:00PM.
These events would not occur without the support of volunteers working to make it happen. Accordingly, North Catholic families are invited to attend and volunteer. Click on the event logo to learn more, and click here to sign up to volunteer.

FROM THE SCHOOL NURSE
Incoming 11th graders (Class of 2024):
Pennsylvania School Health Law requires all 11th grade students to have a physical examination. When you submit a physical with updated immunizations to the school nurse, the nurse records the new vaccines and your teenager is ready for the 12th grade admission requirement. A 2nd dose of the meningococcal vaccine (MCV) is required before entry into 12th grade. Please email documentation of a physical examination and immunizations to the school nurse [email protected] or send to the school office in an envelope labeled “ATTN SCHOOL NURSE.” Please note that these physical forms are separate from your athletic form that you upload to Healthy Roster. The school nurse does not have access to the Healthy Roster system. Physical examination forms can be found at DATE OF EXAM (pa.gov). Any physical dated after July 1, 2021 will be accepted and any form your physician provides will be accepted.
Incoming 12th graders (Class of 2023):
Pennsylvania School Health Law requires all 12th grade students to receive a MCV (Meningococcal) booster vaccination prior to 12th grade entry. Please email the school nurse at [email protected] documentation of your senior’s MCV prior to the start of the 2022-2023 school year. If you are unsure if you have submitted documentation or need to verify immunization exemption status, please email the school nurse with questions at [email protected].

The Annual "Trojan Open” will be held at Treesdale Golf and Country Club on Tuesday, September 6, 2022. Proceeds benefit the tuition assistance program at North Catholic.
