NEW MAIN OFFICE PROTOCOLS
To reduce the amount of traffic in the Main Office during this time, we ask all North Catholic families to be diligent in ensuring that their student bring with them any bags, equipment, lunch or general items that they will need throughout the day and/or immediately after school. In the rare instance when a family member must bring forgotten items for their NC student, we ask that the parent simply leave the item on the table located outside of the Main Office. It would be best to label the item(s) with the students' names.

Furthermore, student drivers are asked to ensure that all items needed throughout the day are brought into the school upon arrival. A number of students have asked to leave the building during school hours to retrieve belongings left inside vehicles. Students are asked to reduce trips to the parking lot during the day.

Additionally, students are not able to store bags or equipment in the Main Office. It is requested that students store personal items or equipment in their lockers. Students who did not request a locker in the beginning of the school year, can still do so by completing the Locker Request Form. If the items are too big to fit inside of a locker, students are asked to discuss storage options with their coaches and the Athletic Department.

Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us to keep our school community safer and cleaner.

WHAT'S HAPPENING @ NORTH
SPIRIT DAY BENEFITING CHILDREN'S CANCER AWARENESS MONTH
On Friday, September 18th, we will be having a Spirit Day to help raise awareness and to assist children battling cancer. This spirit day will help support the #TommyStrong Initiative which looks to assist many families whose children are fighting cancer.

Highlight Story
7-year-old Tommy was diagnosed with very rare Ewing’s Sarcoma Bone Cancer. Tommy has undergone multiple rounds of chemo therapy, tests, hospital stays, over 15 blood transfusions to date as well as major surgery to remove the cancer from his back. During this surgery they removed three of Tommy’s ribs as well as the tissue surrounding it. He has six more months of chemotherapy, procedures and physical therapy, but his only wish is to help other children like him and to show them they can be brave and strong, too! The #TommyStrong Initiative helps to fund many foundations that help children battling cancer during their many hospital stays, struggles at home and all of the many treatments the children receive.
