All righty then, let’s get down to it. Jacksonville’s most steady junior golfer and a player that will be fought over when it comes to future college golf is none other than Moses Compaan, amongst others who are right on his coat tails. Compaan, the Boys 16-18 Player of the Year and NFJPT “Top Honor” award recipient topped the field of 90 players with an opening round of 2-over par 74. Compaan had three birdies in the opening round, but suffered a setback on the par-5 4th hole enduring an unusual double bogey seven. Compaan returned for round two on a tougher set up with a 6-under par round of “66”. How sweet it is! Compaan had six birdies in round two with a “PERFECT” scorecard. How’s that for boring golf, NOT! So exciting!
