Are you surprised?
As you can see there's no rhyme or reason to it and prices fluctuate all year but typically not wildly. 2021 and this year are exceptions though coming out of the pandemic and into the teeth of a shifting market. The 1st half of this year has been impacted by the jump in interest rates.
I've talked with a number of people through their decisions recently and some have decided to do something now and some have decided it's best to wait until the first of next year or in the spring.
Every person is different and every situation is different.
Besides personal timing and what the market is doing now, we are in the middle of a lot of uncertainty and unknowns. This will impact affordability for Buyers and ultimately what they can afford to pay You!
It's been my experience that there are probably some things you haven't thought about that could make a difference one way or the other.
Last November and December in Atlanta 14,895 homes sold and we sold 611 here in North Fulton (seriously). That's a lot of homes.
Since houses sell everyday I'd be happy to talk through it with you so you can figure out what's best for you.
Enjoy your Labor Day weekend.
