March 27, 2020
The COVID-19 Pandemic has impacted our congregation, K-12 School, and Preschool, but our ministry continues. We believe that God has given North Hills an "essential" service to provide and we are here for you.

During this uncertain time, may we not give in to anxiousness and go to God in prayer. Let’s pray for each other and our world. Let’s do our best to stay connected and meet online. As the author of Hebrews says, “and let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near” (Hebrews 10:24-25).

Life is a precious gift from God. Know that you are loved and not alone. God cares for you very much. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him" (John 3:16-17).

K-12 School
Week Two of Online Learning
On Friday, March 13, we communicated by email that our campus would be closed from March 16-27 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and we transitioned to online learning. We realize this has been a significant adjustment for many to make. As we have been monitoring the situation daily, it has become evident that North Hills will be unable to “go back to normal” with the current shelter-in-place Order .

As many of you have probably anticipated (due to circumstances outside of our control), North Hills Christian School will be unable to fully re-open until further notice. In the interim, a door has recently opened for us to provide childcare for enrolled children of  essential workers (as defined in the Order ), under mandatory conditions.

On Wednesday, April 1, we will begin offering childcare for kindergarten through grade 5 children. If you are a parent or guardian who is considered an  essential worker , please know you are not required to bring your child back on April 1; you simply have the option available if it helps you and your family during this time. We have implemented protective protocols which meet and exceed the guidelines set forth by the Solano Public Health Department. If you would like for your child to return on Wednesday, April 1, please let us know by 3:00 p.m. Monday, March 30, by emailing the school office with the following information:
(1) the name of your student(s)
(2) the required documentation verifying you are an  essential worker
(3) the hours of care needed
